Birth of Christ Jesus
An
interesting insight of Andy Hunt's 7/22/06 Five Doves post was the
prophet Daniel's first 62 weeks of his 70 week prophecy ending at the
birth of Christ. On page
40 of "Passion, Power & Glory" under the section, "The Menorah", is
written:
Christ
is believed by many to
have been conceived into this world on Hanukah.
He is the light of the World and following this belief He came into the
womb of Mary on the Jewish Festival of Lights, normally in our
December. His conception is the east-most light in the
Menorah as the Sun rises from the East.
I had also made a post of Five Doves,
(6/7/06) regarding that Jesus would have been born in the fullness of
time:
I believe a
pregnancy has been supernaturally preordained by God to be 10 times the
female period of 4 weeks (4 standing for the flesh), which would make
it 40 weeks (40 standing for trials and tribulations), or 280 days, and
also that Jesus most likely came in the fulness of time as interpreted
from the following scripture:
But when the
fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman,
made under the law, Galations
4:4
It would make
sense that Jesus was carried full-term. He should not have come
into this world premature.

posted on Five Doves,
(6/10/06) a very insightful response as follows:
I
thought this was a fascinating subject, and checked out the feast days
for this year to see if any matched up with a 40 week pregnancy. Check
this out!
05-DEC-26 Hanukkah
+ 40 weeks = Oct 2, 2006 OCT 2 is YOM KIPPUR--
Which is the last day of Rosh Hashanah, and climax of the 10 days of
Awe.
Upon investigation of the years from
6 BC to 2 AD using a computerized representation of the Hebrew
calendar, it was found that the majority of years, Hanukah + 40 weeks
fell on Yom Kippur. Goose bumps! Christ could have
been conceived on
a Jewish Holiday, Hanukah, the festival of (the light of the world),
and born into this world on another Jewish holiday, Yom Kippur, the day
of atonement for the sins of the world, the holiest day on the Hebrew
calendar! He would have been circumcised during the feast of
tabernacles!
A point of interest here is that Daniel's 62nd week would have
ended on Yom Kippur, when Jesus Christ entered the World the first
time. And it has been proposed that Daniel's 63rd through 69th
week
will also end on Yom Kippur, 9/23/2006, along with the end of 2000
prophetic years for the times of the Gentiles, when Jesus Christ will
enter the World the second time. It does not take much inductive
reasoning to figure out that the end of the 1000 year reign followed by
the little season, the 70th week, should also end on Yom Kippur.
Although assuming that time does not change, 1007 prophetic years from
9/23/2016 is April 11, 3009, 10 days past Passover. However,
Christ
may well restore the 360 day year and 30 day moon during His reign
which would keep the years in step to yield the end of 1007 years being
on Yom Kippur.
It is interesting to note that this would mean that none of the 62, 7,
or 1 week periods of time in Daniel's 70 weeks of years determined upon
the Hebrews and Jerusalem, nor the times of the Gentiles, is time when
Jesus Christ is actually on earth. The 62 weeks ends with
Christ's
first coming. The 7 weeks ends with Christ's second coming.
And the
last 1 week ends with Heaven and Earth passing
away and a new Heaven and Earth, and Christ coming to reign forever and
ever in eternity!
