Hour of the Rapture

1.  And he cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them asleep, and saith unto Peter, What, could ye not watch with me one hour?  Matthew 26:40

2.  And he cometh, and findeth them sleeping, and saith unto Peter, Simon, sleepest thou? couldest not thou watch one hour Mark 14:37

Through the preponderance of the evidence it appears that:  1. The hour referred to above was the midnight hour in Jerusalem.  2. It was the midnight hour that the death Angel visited the Egyptians and "passed over" the Israelites.  3. It was the midnight hour that Jesus was buried in the grave, the anniversary of the original "Passover".  4. It was the midnight hour that Jesus rose from the grave, on First-Fruits.  5. It will be the midnight hour in Jerusalem that Jesus returns as a thief in the night for His Bride, the wise virgins, which is referred to as the Rapture.

There are exactly 5 times that the word "watch" and the word "hour" appear together in the same Bible verse.  The other 3 not shown above, refer to the rapture.

3.  Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.  Matthew 24:42

4.  Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.  Matthew 25:13

5.  Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.  Revelation 3:3

Much more corroborating evidence in the Bible exists including most notably the story of the 10 virgins, which is an allegory for the rapture and is found in Matthew 25.

Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.  And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.  They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:  But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.  While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.  And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.  Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.  But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.  And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.  Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.  But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.  Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.  Matthew 25:1-13

So it was shortly after midnight that the bridegroom, representing the Son of man, came.  The cry went out at midnight and after the virgins had trimmed their lamps but before the 5 foolish virgins could knock on doors and get those that sell to hurriedly sell them oil at whatever price, the bridegroom came and it was too late for the 5 foolish virgins.
