Being Triple-Dipped
And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20 NRSV
Being triple-dipped. Some Christian denominations water-baptize converts three times in succession in their strict interpretation of obedience to Jesus’ command as just quoted. But these water baptisms are merely symbolic of much greater spiritual experiences we can have involving each of the three persons of the Godhead Trinity.
We experience overwhelming peace and strange warming of our heart when we ask Jesus to cover us with His blood, to immerse us in His blood, to make us dead to our previous sin and then raise us up with a new mind and soul. However non-Christians will deny that such a spiritual experience exists, let alone that it makes us as if we were not sinners in God’s eyes and allows us into Heaven and eternal life.
We experience overwhelming joy and a strange tongue in our mouth when we ask the Holy Spirit to cover us with His breath, to immerse us with His breath, to raise us up with spirit of power and authority. However non-Pentecostals will deny that such a spiritual experience exists, let alone that is makes us with the power and authority to move mountains.
We will experience overwhelming love and a strange body when we ask the Father to cover us with His fire that does not consume, to immerse us with His fire, to raise us up incorruptible in the resurrection, the redemption of our bodies, the Rapture. Where our bodies shall be changed like the Angels and we will meet Him in the sky. Yet some will deny that such a rapture experience will exist. But the Bible says that it will and we are to watch and be ready.
For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven. But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by God, saying, I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living. Matthew 22:30-32
I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance. but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire: Matthew 3:11

Baptism with Fire/Redemption of
the Body at the Rapture
There was an excellent post on 5 Doves by CAPS regarding THE RAPTURE
– WHEN, (posted 2/19/01). CAPS stated:
I believe it is correct when some have observed that the "Pentecostal Anointing" is not sufficient to bring in the Kingdom. However, there was an initial deposit of the Spirit made at Pentecost and I believe the scriptural account in Acts chapter 2 shows that there is a TWO PART manifestation of the Holy Spirit. The First is the "Baptism of the Holy Spirit" which people like to still argue about re speaking in tongues. That took place in 33 A.D.(I have to ask some of my brethren, reluntantly, how are they going to be prepared to receive the FINAL manifestation of the Holy Spirit when they want to argue about the initial manifestation !The SECOND PART is to be the "Baptism with FIRE" --that was only hinted at in Acts ch. 2 by the mainifestation of the "tongues of FIRE." The FIRE portion of this is still to be manifested. The "deposit" of the Spirit at Pentecost was just that .......a deposit. It put the "purchased possession in 'layaway' until the Final REDEMPTION OF THE BODY.The initial deposit ,which is the Baptism of the Holy Spirit is the "layaway TICKET" TO THE REDEMPTION OF THE BODY. Have you ever tried to appear at the layaway counter to pick up your item without a TICKET ?? THERE WILL BE NO REDEMPTION OF THE BODY FOR THOSE WHO HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE INITIAL BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. Strong words , I know, but it is TIME to hear this now.
EPHESIANS 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were SEALED with that holy Spirit of promise, 1:14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory. Paul, clearly in the book of Romans, showed that he was referring to the REDEMPTION OF THE BODY:
ROMANS 8:11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. This verse shows the CONNECTION between having the Holy Spirit dwelling in you and having your mortal body "QUICKENED" , i.e.CHANGED INTO A GLORIFIED BODY, at the Rapture.
Further, Paul says in Romans:
8:21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. 8:22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. 8:23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. NOTICE EXTREMELY CAREFULLY THE CONNECTION PAUL MAKES TO HAVING THE FIRSTFRUITS OF THE SPIRIT TO THE ........FINAL REDEMPTION OF THE BODY !!
YES, THE initial Baptism of the Spirit is NOT sufficient to bring in the full manifestation of the Sons of God. BUT.......WHOA BABY......THE FINAL BAPTISM WITH FIRE IS !!!!
The "Pentecostal experience" is a two part one. The SECOND BAPTISM WITH FIRE HAS NOT YET OCCURRED. IT WILL BRING INTO MANIFESTATION THE SONS OF GOD IN A
GLORIFIED BODY. It was pre-pictured on the Day of Pentecost by the appearance of the "cloven tongues of FIRE". Yet, the sign soon vanished and only the speaking in tongues , the FIRST PART OF THE FULFILLMENT OF MATTHEW CH 3 RE (" He will Baptize you with the Holy Spirit AND WITH FIRE").........remained. However, for those who have eyes to see it the Day of Pentecost clearly was prophetic of the 2nd MAINIFESTATION of the Baptism of Fire !!Finally, look at this portion of the Epistle to the Ephesians:
4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. The same Holy Spirit that we received as a Corporate Body on the Day of Pentecost in 33 A.D. is the SAME HOLY SPIRIT that is going to REDEEM our bodies on the 2ND AND FINAL PHASE OF THE DAY OF PENTECOST . I believe "THAT" Pentecost is COMING THIS YEAR, IN 2001 !!
MATTHEW CH. 3:
3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire: 3:12 Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire. Notice finally and carefully, and perhaps for the first time the correct reading and understanding of Acts chapter 2 . Notice the difference between the Wind and the Fire. Brethren , Wind is the Baptism with the Holy Spirit and FIRE is the Baptism of the Entire Body ----that will happen on another Day of Pentecost. It will be the change of the body to a Glorified Body and will fulfill the "Sealing unto the day of REDEMPTION." AS a corporate body the Church received the Sealing in 33 A.D. The Day of Redemption is still to occur, but will clearly be on another Day of Pentecost !!Acts chapter 2:
2:1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2:2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 2:3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.CAPS
To which the following can be added:
For all of those who still do not
recognize THE promise of the Father,
(i.e. Acts 1:4-5 - Worrell Translation - “And being assembled together
with them, he commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait
for the promise of the Father, which, said He, "Ye heard from Me;
because
John, indeed, immersed in water, but ye shall be immersed in the Holy
Spirit,
not many days hence."”). Let us pray that everyone gets beyond
any
doctrinal differences and asks to be immersed and clothed in the Holy
Spirit.
I realize for many according to scripture it takes the laying on of
hands
(Acts 8:18, I Timothy 4:14, Hebrews 6:2). And we must first have
Jesus in our heart to be immersed in the Holy Spirit and we must first
be immersed in the Holy Spirit to be immersed in the Fire that does not
consume. Good Word! Has anyone else noticed that each of
these
can be expressed as experiencing each part of the Trinity? Moses
saw the back of God the Father and his face glowed for many days
afterward.
Elijah was raptured into heaven in a CHARIOT OF FIRE. “And it
came
to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there
appeared
a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder;
and
Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.” II Kings 2:11.
Bring on the Chariots of Fire! I’m ready for my redemption body!
